Abstract
The learning process of introducing hijaiyah letters in PAUD units still faces obstacles, especially in terms of the lack of variation in learning methods used by teachers. The learning approach that tends to be monotonous, coupled with the limited media available, makes children's learning experiences less interesting. This condition has implications for children's low interest in learning hijaiyah letters, which in the end can hinder the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of interactive methods for introducing hijaiyah letters in Ibunda Kubang Kindergarten. This research method uses qualitative with a descriptive approach with the aim of factually describing the real conditions in the field related to the strategy for introducing hijaiyah letters applied by teachers. The subjects in this study included class teachers BI, B2, and the principal at the kindergarten. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and collection of supporting documents. Data analysis procedures include the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that teachers used several methods in introducing hijaiyah letters to children, including conversation methods, demonstrations, questions and answers, and giving assignments accompanied by the use of learning media to increase the effectiveness of the learning process.
