Abstract

The results of observations in Athirah Islamic Kindergarten conducted by researchers found that students were less able to create ideas, use their ideas to be able to solve various things when playing, less explore the types of media provided. In relation to this, researchers develop big book media of increasing their creativity. This type of research is research and development (RnD) with the ADDIE model research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, teacher response questionnaires and validation sheets. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that: 1) an overview of the need for big book media in P5 activities is needed by teachers to improve children's creativity skills. 2) The Big Book Media Development Design made with a guidebook is innovative, structured, clear and easy to understand. 3) The level of validity and practicality of Big Book Media by experts shows that Big Book media is very valid and feasible to use. 4) The effectiveness level of Big Book Media shows the initial creativity ability of children with a score of 26% while the final creativity ability shows a final score of 87%. This increase shows that Big Book media in P5 activities is very effective in improving the creativity of children aged 4-5 years Old.
