Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of loose parts media on the ability to count in children aged (4-5) years using the Pre -Experimental method with the One Shot Case Study design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample used in this study were children aged 4-5 years, totalling 16 children. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation sheets. Based on the calculation results tcount ≥ ttable, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of loose parts media on the ability to count in children aged (4-5) years at PAUD Kasih Bunda, Ogan Ilir Regency. This is evidenced by 7 children in the Very Well Developing (BSB) category, then 6 children in the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) category, 2 children in the Starting to Develop (MB) category, and 1 child in the Not Yet Developed category.
