Abstract

Rapid and instant technological developments influence children's behavior, especially in terms of honest character. Many teachers want variations in character education, considering the low level of honesty among young children. Problems that are often encountered at school include: taking other people's things, not being honest when asked by teachers, blaming each other, and not admitting mistakes. These problems hinder the cultivation of good character in children. This research method is classroom action research with subjects aged 5-6 years (group B) at Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal 1 Paleran Kindergarten, consisting of 16 male students and 18 female students. Data collection in this research was carried out through observation and documentation. The research results showed that in the first cycle stage, the average achievement was 70.45%, still below the minimum completeness criterion of 80%. However, in cycle II, there was an increase of 23.30%, with an average reaching 93.75%. In conclusion, the traditional game gobag sodor is very effective in instilling the character value of honesty in young children
