Abstract

This research aims to produce a Sensory play box educational game tool for children aged (5-6) years
that is tested valid and practical. The development model used is formative evaluation from Rowntree
and Tessmer with the stages of needs analysis, product design, and evaluation consisting of self
evaluation, expert review, one to ne evaluation, and small group evaluation. The data collection
techniques used in this study were interviews, observations, and walkthroughs. The results showed
that the material validity was 93% and the media validity was 92%, so the average product validity
was 92% with a very valid category. The one to one evaluation stage involved three children with
95% results and the small group evaluation stage involved six children with 92% results, from both
obtained an average of 93% with a very practical category. The results showed that the sensory play
box game tool developed had met the valid and practical criteria and was suitable for use to stimulate
sensory for children aged (5-6) years in Musi Rawas Regency.
