Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the make a match method in social learning on the cooperation skills of children aged 5-6 years. This research method is a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study type. The research sample used 16 children aged 5-6 years. The data collection techniques used observation in the form of checklist sheet and documentation. The data analysis techniques used statistics with a t-test obtained that the result of tcount = 3,61 and the result of ttable = 1,75. It is concluded that the tcount > ttable (3,61 > 1,75) so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This states that there is an effect of the make a match method on social learning in the cooperation skills of children aged 5-6 years at Public Kindergarten Pembina Penukal, PALI Regency. After the make a match method was applied to social learning, it showed that children were able to interact with peers, were able to be responsible for working on and presenting the result of assignments, and were able to help each other in carrying out group activities and completing their group assignment.
