Abstract

The phenomenon of stuttering in preparing P5 teaching modules which is rife in PAUD institutions,
especially in PAUD institutions which have the status of driving schools, has become a particular concern
amid government policies that require every teaching teacher to be proficient in everything, without
exception in planning lessons. This research is a descriptive research method using qualitative approach.
This research will describe the results of self-assessment of Kindergarten teachers in five schools in Central
Lampung Regency. The population is 40 teachers consisting of 5 teachers who are seconded as school
principals and 35 teachers. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample, which means using the entire
population as a sample, so that the sample is 40 people. The results of this study include: (1) Teachers still
have difficulty expressing ideas, ideas and basic concepts in compiling P5 topics based on existing themes ; (2) The teacher's lack of ability to express ideas and concepts, set activity goals, and set goals to be
achieved; (3) The teacher's ability to explore student needs is also constrained by how to evaluate needs; (4)
The ability of teachers to develop concepts into teaching modules is also constrained because on average
teachers do not understand P5 teaching modules even though there is already a guidebook from the
