Abstract

This research is entitled Efforts to Improve Prosocial Behavior Through Cooperative Play of Puzzle
Estafet in Group B Children at PAUD Taruna Mandiri Sriwijaya Palembang. The purpose of this
study was to improve the prosocial behavior of group B children through cooperative play of puzzle
relay. This type of research is a class action research with Kemis and Mc. Taggart model. This
research was conducted over two cycles, with three meetings in one cycle. The subjects in this study
were 16 children, consisting of 11 girls and 5 boys. The four stages in this research method are: 1)
planning (plan), 2) Implementation of Action (act), 3) Observing, and 4) Reflecting. The data
collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's prosocial behavior from pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. In the pre-
cycle there were 4 children (25%), increasing in cycle 1 to 5 children (31.25%) who got the criteria for developing as expected and in cycle 2 there were 13 children (81.25%) children who got the
criteria for developing as expected. So that from the results of data analysis shows that at each
meeting there are indicators of being able to cooperate, show helpful behavior, and show behavior
knowing the feelings of friends. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that through
cooperative play the puzzle relay can improve the prosocial behavior of group B children at PAUD
Taruna Mandiri Sriwijaya Palembang to Develop as expected (BSH).
